Working Together

Our wealth management process is designed to help our clients achieve all that is important to them.

Through our disciplined and consultative process, we develop a deep understanding of your goals and objectives, concerns and aspirations for you and your family. We make a serious commitment of time and resources to each client and pride ourselves on only working with clients where there is a good fit and we feel we can make a significant impact on their lives.

Our goal is to help our clients make smart decisions about their finances. To achieve this goal, we act as our clients’ personal CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and help provide the information they need to make decisions from a position of knowledge. This helps our clients avoid the emotional mistakes--so often made by investors--that can compromise their long-term financial security.

In today’s complex and fast-changing environment, having a flexible, forward-looking plan is crucial. We work closely and collaboratively with other professional advisors such as attorneys, CPAs, mortgage professionals, insurance specialists, etc., to address a broad range of challenges and opportunities that today’s families face. This coordination is an important, though frequently overlooked, component to achieving financial success.

Step 1: Introductory Call. Our initial conversation is designed to determine whether our philosophy and process are a good match for what you need from a financial advisor.

Step 2: Discovery Meeting. The Discovery meeting enables us to gather sufficient information to understand your goals, your current situation and everything else we need to know to develop our plan and recommendations for you.

Step 3: Investment Plan & IPS Process. We review everything we learned during Discovery in order to create your Investment Plan, Investment Policy Statement, Gap Analysis, and other wealth planning recommendations.

Step 4: Investment Plan Meeting. During this meeting, we review with you the key findings from our Discovery Meeting. Then we go over your new Investment Plan, Investment Policy Statement, Gap Analysis and our other recommendations. We also describe our implementation process.

Step 5: Implementation Meeting. Our Client Service Manager explains the various documents we have prepared to open new accounts, transfer assets and implement the investment strategy and other recommendations for your approval and signature.

Step 6: New Client Welcome. During this phone conversation, we begin by reviewing the current status of account transfers. We discuss online access, including e-delivery of statements, answer your questions and confirm your contact preferences.

Step 7: Progress Review. We discuss updates to your family, employment and financial situation, potential planning issues, and the current economic environment. We review progress toward your goals and answer any questions you may have.
